Yes. Midco can block calls to the operator to receive directory assistance. To turn off directory assistance access for your business, contact Midco customer service.

There is a one-time charge associated with blocking this phone feature.

Can I block long-distance calls from being made within my business?

Yes. Midco can block all long-distance calls, also known as a total denial block. However, the following call types are still allowed:

  • Collect calls
  • Third-party billing
  • Calling cards
  • Toll-free calls (800 or 888)
  • 911 calls
  • 411 calls
  • Local calls

To turn off long-distance calling from your business, contact Midco customer service.

There are monthly and one-time charges associated with blocking outgoing long-distance calls.
