When Lisa Roers and her husband moved from Fargo, ND, to Dickinson, they saw a real opportunity with their family and their family business.
“It was just crazy with the oil boom,” says Roers of the real estate market in western North Dakota. She manages Roers and Roers West, LLC – a commercial and residential development, construction, property management and real estate company.
When the Roers family moved and the company expanded west in 2010, Roers felt it was important to put down roots in the community.
“When you’re an out-of-town company, the community gets skeptical that you’re going to just come in, make your money and leave,” explains Roers.
