Network Upgrade Coming to Midco Customers in Kansas
Jan. 30, 2018 – Lawrence, KS: In preparation for gigabit internet speeds, Midco is upgrading its network. Beginning March 6, Midco will start converting TV channels to an all-digital format, creating an even better cable TV experience.
Residential and business customers without digital cable TV equipment from Midco on their TVs will need to take action to continue watching their favorite channels. Midco is offering up to three HD digital adapters free of monthly leasing charges for each account.
HD digital adapters can be ordered at Midco.com/DigitalNow or by calling 1.800.888.1300. If customers would prefer to pick up their equipment in person, they can stop by our Lawrence Customer Experience Center at 2000 W. 31st St., Suite C. We’re open 8 am-6 pm Monday through Friday, and 9 am-1 pm Saturday.
Keeping the customer experience at the forefront, this upgrade to full digital will allow Midco to make future enhancements to its network, which will provide a greater viewing experience for customers. The move to all-digital cable TV will take place in several phases starting in early March and is expected to be complete by April 4.
